"Dream" Layout for the April Prima BAP

I've been waiting to scrap this picture since this past summer! It's from my 20 year high school reunion. These two amazing ladies with me on this layout were my best friends in high school, and I LOVE them. They are both very special to me, and while we have kept in touch over the years, it was a dream come true to spend some time with them this summer. The Prima Vintage Emporium collection colors was perfect for this picture!

First, here's the Prima BAP:

There are lots of amazing elements in this sketch, and this is my take on it:

I went for a mixed media background to incorporate a lot of layering and colors using clear gesso, white gesso, and various mists.

In this closeup you can see the stenciling that I did using the Prima white crackle paste, which is one of my favorite products to use! I also used gold crackle paste on the chipboard flourishes. The lace is older Prima alencon lace.

This closeup shows some of the misting and coloring, and shows a little bit of the flower clustering peeking from under the photo.

For the title, I used one of the coordinating wood embellishments, placing it on a resin oval that I filled with crystals and flowers.

Thanks for having a look!
