And, this is my take on it:
I kept to Bec's fabulous design pretty closely. Her designs are always so beautiful, so it was easy to lift her. I used the roughly the same amount of flowers, ephemera in the layers, stenciling, and similar chipboards, but made it beachy!
"Spring cleaning" was also part of this challenge- using old stuff from your stash! So, I used some Blue Fern Studios chipboard from when I was on their design team a couple of years ago. I used Stampendous Frantage embossing powder in aged teal on the "By the Sea" title.
And the square frame is also from Blue Fern Studios. I primed it with gesso, dry brushed Prima copper paint on it, then touched it up with some teal chalk ink for a patina look.
I also pulled out some older Prima lace to use, and some Viva blue modeling paste sitting on the shelf.
And, I finally decided it was time to use this big beautiful Prima flower, which I have been saving FOREVER!
This is the first of many beachy layouts and projects from our spring break trip.
Thanks for looking!
