I am so in love with the Bejeweled kit. The Blue Fern Studios Sanctuary collection is definitely on my top five list of the best papers of all time.
Here's a few projects I have made with the Sanctuary line:
"Happiness" Layout
I have a step by step tutorial for this layout on the forums, so you can find MANY more details HERE.
Forever Layout
This is my layout based on our sketch this month.
I used a lot of the embellishment add on kit on this layout and a handful of things from my stash to complete this look.
The punch is the classic Martha Stewart "Cherish" punch. I used a black marker to trace the dots for a faux stitching look. On that paper I used one of my favorite Prima stencils from a past kit with some embossing paste. I misted the Perfect Pearls from the mediums add on in random spots for that darker blue.
The chipboard is a Blue Fern Studios frame that I embossed and painted. It's also from the embellishment add on, as well as the teal velvet trim that I layered on the Prima trim from the main kit.
A couple of the blue flowers are older Prima from my stash, along with the metal corners and circles and the resin Roman column.
I finished off the layout by touching it with some gesso and Silks glaze paints.
Live in the Now Canvas
This is my project that I made with the technique kit, featuring the Marion Smith Designs Color Lab kit.
I have a video tutorial for this canvas that shows how EASY it is to make the mists, and use them on the seam binding, flowers and canvas that you get in the kit. Here's the video:
You have until midnight, eastern time, January 8th to complete the hop. Winners will be announced on the Swirlydoos Blog on 1/10. In order to qualify to win here is what you need to do:
