This one is her first portrait.
I used wet distressing that I learned from Robin Schelin, designer for Swirlydoos.
I love this picture. When I was going through all of these old photos, I was irritated that my grandma wrote all over the pics, but I have since learned that it was a very popular thing to do! Besides, it's neat to have her handwriting preserved like this. She gave this picture to my grandpa, so it's kind of special.
This was also another attempt at doing wet distressing. And, I did fussy cutting on the the blue scroll on the right side.
This picture is another senior portrait.
I used a ruffle technique on the large patterned paper. I saw this on many of Gabrielle Pollaco's layouts, which gives an elegant effect to any layout. The chipboard frane is from Technique Tuesday; I used brown and yellow distress inks and sporadically placed blue chalk ink to create the rusted effect.
