"Fun Guys" Canvas using the Prima Product Pick (PPP)
I love the softness of this color combo. It has somewhat of a feminine look to it, but I really wanted to see if I could make a masculine project with this palette, focusing on the grey and brown, and making the green/teal and purple highlighting colors. I came up wth this canvas:
This picture is one of my all time favorites of my husband and the boys!
I started with a a thick newsprint canvas from Michaels, which was a great background for all of these Prima goodies! I used a Prima stencil and crackle paste, then added soft teal Color Bloom spray, and water and little heaps of the purple mica powder that you can see in the closeup below.
I painted the metal barn starts with gesso, rose gold opal magic paint, and then added a little bit of rose gold Liquid Pearls to give it the brownish rose color from the palette.
I added some grey metals from the Junkyard Findings (the pipe frame and the spark plug) and the Finnabair heart. I added some more brown from the palette with the metal bird and the rusty washer.
And then to round out the colors I added teal, purple, and grey flowers, and brown leaves.
And that is my masculine take on the PPP. :)
"Lovely" Layout using the BAP
I love this sketch! I had an idea for this layout using this picture of my daughter. I was kind of bummed that she took this selfie in Snapchat with that funky filter!
So, I made it better making a Prima flower headband. :)
I thought this picture would be nice with the Butterfly collection, so I flipped the sketch to make the top paper work.
In the middle of making this layout I bought the new IOD moulds and stamps so I used the script stamp all over, and made some leaves from the moulds with ice resin, which I colored with chalk ink.
I also made one of the key holes and sprayed it with a gold color broom spray.
And I used color bloom sprays on the chipboard.
I really love this sketch, and I think I will use it again.
"Beautiful" Card using the Cards and Tags Sketch
Here's my take on it. I used the Bella Rouge collection, and I even used one of my coveted Prima pistachio branches to create the circle.
The red frame is a Shabby Chic Treasures resin frame that I painted using the royal red metallic paint and brushed it with black artisan powders. I also used green artisan powder on the lace sticker at the bottom right of the page.
Thanks for stopping by to look at my latest projects! I hope you got a chance to play along this month! :)
