We have some absolutely beautiful scrapbook projects for you to see today !!

"Live Your Dreams" Mini Album

You MAY have already seen this because it was on the Swirlydoos blog with a video tutorial this past Saturday. I used some Dusty Attic chipboard pieces on this cover that are NOT part of the kit, but one of the benefits of being a subscriber is getting to participate in special orders, and we recently had one for this magnificent chipboard, so I thought I would use a few pieces from it.

Here are some closeups that showcase some of the details:

If you haven't had a chance to check out the video tutorial, you can find here:

And, be sure to check out the Swirlydoos blog on Saturday to watch part two that shows how to complete the inside!

"Love You" Layout

This is my layout based on our monthly sketch. Here's the sketch:

I flipped it to make it more of a funky take on the kit for this picture of me and my smallest guy.

I added LOTS of distressing and layers, including some punched strips of the dictionary vellum which gives it a great texture peeking between the papers.

I painted the Creative Embellishments chipboard from the embellishment add on with the Art Anthology velvet paint, then dry brushed some gold paint from my stash over it to highlight the texture from the black dimensional paint.

I also added some gesso splatters using some diluted gessos (black and white) with the splatter brush from the mediums add on. The stencil is not from the kit, but one of Prima's new ones. The black and grey paper has the doily stencil from the mediums add on that I used some crackle paste on, then cut around it.

"Always" Mosaic Canvas

I loved using the Ranger mosaic kit from the project add on this month! I used two of the greenish blue papers from the kit to create the base. I painted the chipboard with some blue paint and then added some aged silver embossing powder in some spots, then added some blue patina mist.

I filled up the frame with flowers from the project kit and the flower add on kit to create a textured "bed" for the Prima resin piece from the embellishment add on, and added the lace that I made into a bow. I misted the resin piece, then added some gesso, then sponged it off to get that looked.

I completed the project by adding some splats like the layout above, then added a Dusty Attic word title that I got form the Dusty Attic special order. I added the rhinestones in between the letters.

"Believe" Layout

I was inspired by January Prima BAP for this layout.   I have been wanting to scrap this picture for a long time! This kit was perfect for it. I also had set aside that circle "fairy ring" that I bought from Angelica's etsy shop to go with the picture, but my youngest pulled off some of the flowers, and I wasn't sure I would be able to salvage it, however,  I used some of the daisies from the flowers in the main kit, as well as some from my stash to give it a makeover, and I think it works!

I used the Dusty Attic chipboard for a corner piece, and added a Prima patina metal trinket. I painted both pieces with some gold and turquoise paints, as well as the "believe" title, also from the Dusty Attic special order.

I haven't used sequins on my pages in a very long time, but I thought I would give them a go since they were in the kit. I added some of the blue adhesive pearls to the middles, and I think I really like them!

You have until midnight, eastern time, January 22nd, to complete the hop. Winners will be announced on the Swirlydoos Blog on 01/25.  In order to qualify to win here is what you need to do:
1: Visit all of the blogs and leave a comment on each. This way we know you were there. Take your time. There are REALLY beautiful things to see along the way.
2: Before you leave each blog, look for the “special” words and write it down.
Once you have visited all the blogs and collected all the special words, they will create a sentence.
3: Finally, go back to the Swirlydoos blog and leave a comment letting us know how much fun you had, tell us the sentence that was created with all of the special words you collected. Can't wait to hear from you.

My special word is : optimistic-

The party continues over at Jan's blog. Have fun!
