We have some absolutely beautiful scrapbook projects for you to see today !!
Here's what I've made with this awesome kit so far:
"Enjoy the Little Things..." Layout
This is my take on the February sketch. I rotated it and added some embellishments in the corner. I started out by cutting up the blue wood grain paper to make some panels and went from there. I cut up the Prima felt strips and used a mitering technique by adding the scallops of the felt around the half circle. Several of the small layers, including the title on the tag are from the Kaisercraft Blue Bay Collectibles set that came in the embellishment kit. The black lace is from my stash. The brown vines are diecuts I made out of the brown cardstock from the cardstock add on using a older Marianne die. I finished off the layout by using white gesso and Silks paints on the flowers, then added some paint drops and mists all over.
"Besties" Layout
This picture is of my daughter and her best friend. These two girls are very cute together, and I have been waiting for the perfect kit to scrap this pic and this month was perfect.
I cut out the middle of the die cut paper, and added some mist and embossing fragments powder to distress it up a bit. I cut up some random layers from the kit papers to create the design, and used a Spellbinders die that I cut in half and placed the two pieces to under the photo and mat.
For the chipboard, I used the Liquid Pearls that came in the man kit to randomly cover it, then I added some embossing powders and hit it with a heat gun. Once dry, I misted it with a dark green mist.
I added the teal and white flowers from my stash, as well as the resin cherub.
"Cherish Yesterday..." Altered Chalkboard
I have a process video for this altered chalkboard that you can see here:
