More Projects with the June Swirlydoos Kit to Share

Well, I had so much fun playing with this kit! Here are the rest of the projects that I came up with this month using the fabulous Brass Shilling kit:

Handsome Layout

I had the pleasure of doing the Round Robin Challenge this month, following LaQuette, Kim, and Christy, and this is my take on their fabulous creations!

 "Follow Your Dreams" Card

Again this is for another challenge at Swirlydoos: Round Robin for Cards! This is my take on Steph's card this month:

Untitled Layout:
This is a silly picture of my grandma when she was a teenager. The quality of the photo is not that great, so I thought I would add to the poor lighting and add one of the Crate Paper transparency frames, however, it makes the layout difficult to photograph!

Live Laugh Love Wall Hanging

So this is my take on the sketch this month! Kind of different, as it isn't a layout, but it works.

Thanks for looking!

Welcome to Swirlydoos' June Kit Reveal Blog Hop Block Party!!

If you came here from Irene's blog, then you are on the right track. If not, go back to Swirlydoos' blog and start from there. We have some amazing projects for you to see today !! Make sure to leave a comment on all of the blogs for a chance to win!!! Check out Swirlydoos on Facebook and Like Us!!!

I am so in love with the Brass Shilling kit, and I'm sure you are too!

Be sure to grab yourself a kit and add-ons form the Boutique!

So, I haven't had much time to make any layouts with the main kit yet, but I did use a lot of it, along with the other add-ons to complete my Kaisercraft Tool Box from this month's project kit. Here's what I came up with:

And, here's a video for your viewing pleasure if you wish to see how I assembled and adorned my took box:

You have until midnight, eastern time, on Tuesday 6/4 to complete the hop. Winners will be announced on the Swirlydoos Blog on Wednesday 6/5. In order to qualify to win here is what you need to do:
1: Visit all of the blogs and leave a comment on each. This way we know you were there. Become a follower if you're not already. Take your time. There are REALLY beautiful things to see along the way.
2: Before you leave each blog, look for the “special” words and write it down.
Once you have visited all the blogs and collected all the special words, they will create a sentence.
3: Finally, go back to the Swirlydoos blog and leave a comment letting us know how much fun you had, tell us the sentence that was created with all of the special words you collected. Can't wait to hear from you.

My special words are: forget to

The party continues over at the ever-so-talented Paulien's blog. (You will be AMAZED at what she's done with this kit!) Have fun!

More May Projects

Well, I just didn't get a lot of time to do any blogging this month, but I wanted to share some projects that I made this month:

"Art" Idea Book

Here's an idea book I made using the April Swirlydoos kit:

And here's a start-to-finish video: Idea Book Tutorial

Next, I have a couple of other projects that I made with the Swirlydoos May kit:

"Me" Layout

This layout is also my last DT assignment for Flourish with a Bling. It was a great experience, and I was thankful to Maggie, Kate, and Lucy for the amazing opportunity!

Au Naturale Altered Bottles

I made these with some leftover things from the May kit, and some gesso, crackle paint, and mists. You can see the  Altered Bottle Tutorial here.

Swirlydoos Challenges Projects

Here's a layout that I made form y team this month. I had the honor of following fellow subscribers Patty and Manda.

And, this is a card I made based on Peggy's fabulous card.

Thanks for having a peek!
