"Baby Doll" Layout

This is a layout that I made for the round robin challenge at Swirlydoos. Manda K started off our team with a wonderful Christmas layout, and then Christy lifted it- it was a cute layout with her daughter holding a lizzard. I went in the other direction, using baby pictures. These pics are from a portait session when my daughter was one!
I started by using some wavy layers for the background paper- distressed, then inked. I framed the inner square with some white Kaisercraft pearl strands. I love those wood butterflies, but I wanted them ti have a tinge of color, so I rubbed some Spun Sugar distress ink on them.
I matted the photos with paper that I distressed using my fingernail, then slightly pushed up the paper for dimension.
The alphabet stickers were white, and heavily treated- first, I used a fan brush to lightly color them with Inchworm Chalkboard mist, then did the same thing with some Mossy Green Shimmerz. I wasn't very happy with the contrast against the background paper, so I inked them slightly with Vintage Photo distress ink, but they were still missing something. I decided to add some Baby Blue Stickles, and that gave me a look I was happy with!

Here is a close up:
