Swirlydoos Summer Serenity Layouts

The July Swirlydoos kit was to die for. Unfortunately, I kind of burned myself out on the Basic Grey Cappella line when I was doing a mini album with it. I did manage to squeeze out a few though.

The pic on this layout is so old! I edited it in Picasa so it would go well with the colors of the papers and flowers.
I went crazy with the Zutter Distrezz-it-all on this one. The bottom vine is Dusty Attic chipboard, and the small vine is a cut of the same shape that I made with SCAL. I used Cat's Eye chalk in in Burnt Sienna on all of the papers.

This is a pic of me! I am not fond of the 70's background of the picture, but I tried to make the layout look a litttle "70's" to make the pic work with these papers.

I painted the chipboard with green paint, then used gold and black distress embossing powder. The foam letters were colored using an alcohol ink pen.

I used the monthly sketch that came with the July kit for this layout.
I used alcohol inks to color the swirly jewels- they are more vibrant in real life. The black vines were cut with the Cricut. The title is a rub-on by Kaisercraft.
