The paper in the August kit was some of the prettiest paper I have ever seen. I love blue! Here are a few layouts I did with the kit:
This layout was done for the September Round Robin challenge at Swirlydoos, of course. Lisa Gregory was kind enough to edit this photo of me and my son. (Thank you, Lisa!)
I did this layout for the August Round Robin challenge. I got a handful of people asking how I was able to get this shot of my daughter and the cat, and the truth is, that the cat is just really that cool- he loves to get kissed!

My husband took this picture of us when we were sitting on the beach on Coronado Island.
I used wet distressing on the main blue paper, and it's the first time that I tried this technique where I was happy with the results! The chipboard vines are from Creative Imaginations; I used three colors of green alcohol ink on them to create a watercolor effect. The big flower is a creation that I made by ripping apart a Prima flower, and putting a Petaloo flower on it. It looks better that way!
My daughter looks so cute with "bed head" in the morning! This was taken a couple of years ago, and I hadn't scrapped it yet.
